Drawing on the life and work of Clarice Lispector, ‘In Search of the Thing Itself’ unfolds as a poetic journey through
memory, identity, and belonging. Conceived as a solo stage work, the piece combines text, movement, recorded original music, projections, and live pictorial actions within a hybrid and poetic scenic device, where autobiographical and fictional elements enter into dialogue with Lispector’s literary universe. A performance that delves into human fragility and the search for that which eludes language.
