Week Seminar 15-20 July, Anogeia Crete

This seminar will focus on the Ney, exploring a variety of traditional and contemporary modal music genres.  The seminar is open to musicians of all levels who play the Ney, as well as other instrumentalists looking to interpret the Ney’s character on their own instruments or to enhance their general musicianship.  Participants will have the opportunity to study traditional pieces, experiment with improvisation and composition, and deepen their understanding of modal music.
